ARN’s iHeart, in partnership with BlakCast Podcast Network, has launched Access Granted with Lowanna Grant, a new podcast series featuring candid conversations with some of Australia and Aotearoa’s most influential personalities.

Hosted by Lowanna Grant, Access Granted promises listeners an exclusive gateway into stories of resilience, representation, and ambition from some of their favourite household names, with guests for season one including media personality Brooke Blurton, songwriter Troy Cassar-Daley and Lowanna’s mum, journalist Karla Grant.

Each episode promises to move beyond traditional interviews, revealing untold stories and heartfelt moments in a relaxed, authentic atmosphere where both laughter and vulnerability are encouraged.

The start of every interview begins with a simple  ‘Tell us something we don’t know about you or that might surprise us,’ and from there, unique conversations follow.

In the latest episode – released this morning – Brooke Blurton discusses the labels that media has put on her, the pressures she has felt as a proud Indigenous woman and her struggles with mental health and grief while being in the spotlight.

Lowanna Grant said “As a proud Wiradjuri and Western Arrernte woman, storytelling and sharing knowledge is in my blood. Access Granted was born from a deep desire to sit down with some of Australia and Aotearoa’s most influential voices and dive into conversations that go beyond the surface. This podcast is about breaking the façade and uncovering stories of resilience, representation and ambition and creating space for yarns that people may not have heard before. I’m incredibly proud to partner with ARN and BlakCast to amplify these voices and share stories that connect, empower and leave a lasting impact.”

New episodes of Access Granted with Lowanna Grant will be released every Friday, with the first two episodes now available on the free iHeart app or wherever you get your podcasts.
