New night time music show for Tamworth radio

New England North West’s 88.9fm and Liverpool Plains’ 99.5fm has added a new voice to host Monday evenings.

Kicking off this week, Scarlett Coppola will host a brand-new music show: Night Shift with Scarlett.

This will be on top of her duties as a cadet journalist in the Tamworth station’s regional newsroom.

An artist and their music will be featured once per hour, as part of a segment called Scarlett’s Choice.

Some stories from the regional newsroom will also be incorporated in the show.

Scarlett will join Dan Missen, current host of the overnight program that airs from midnight to dawn, to cater to the growing demand for interactive hosted night/overnight shows.

Content Director Ray McCoy says “Dan’s overnight show, in the short time that it has been on air, has attracted a large regional following and a growing audience across the state on iHeart Radio.”

“The need for an interactive hosted overnight show has exceeded the station’s expectations.”
