New adventure for Josh Szeps

Political satirist, podcaster and departing ABC Radio Sydney Afternoons host Josh Szeps is about to embark on a new adventure, with his interview show Uncomfortable Conversations expanding to video.

Since making his seventh appearance on The Joe Rogan Show – one of the world’s most popular podcasts – Szeps has achieved new records, with Uncomfortable Conversations having surpassed 3,000,000 downloads.

The show will take its next audacious step, going to video tomorrow (1^st December), with a live podcast tour to follow in 2024.

In collaboration with Australian touring company TEG Dainty, Szeps will be enticing the world’s most fascinating people to join him on stage.

Szeps says “It’s surreal when something you’ve given birth to succeeds beyond your dreams.”

“I’m allergic to clichés and I detest the phony humility that so many people profess about how shocked, surprised, and truly, TRULY humbled they are when something happens that they made happen. So I’ll simply say I’m grateful – grateful that so many people obviously crave the thing which I, too, think the world needs more of: Bullshit-free conversations about the most important issues of our time.”

Szeps was recently replaced by James Valentine in the ABC Radio Sydney afternoon shift.
