After more than two decades as Station Manager and 30 years of service with the ABC, the voice of the Riverland Bruce Mellett is set to retire next week.

Group News Director Steve Speziale has left Southern Cross Austereo. Steve has worked for SCA twice, this time for ten years, most recently holding the position Group News Director, Metro Radio and Australian Traffic Network Operations.

After 26 years on ABC Local Radio’s Nightlife and more than 30 years at the ABC, Tony Delroy is leaving the ABC.

A number of changes are slated for Sydney’s 2UE, which will see Stuart Bocking move to 2GB, Bill Woods go to Foxtel and Luke Bona move to mornings and John Deeks to network overnights.

Guy Mylecharane is moving from 2MC FM to network announcer for the Classic Hits stream on Local Works based out of Albury.

ACE Radio’s Lauren “Loggy” Temuskos is making the move from Warrnambool to the warmer climate of Townsville. Loggy was part of the Coast FM breakfast team with Monkey & The Big Fella.

Former Olympic Swimming Champion Elka Whalan will be joining ARN’s Network news team as a commentator during the Games in August.

Southern Cross Austereo have appointed Damon Rielly as the new General Manager for hit 105 and Triple M. It sees him return to the SCA fold, where he was Director of Sales and led both the agency and direct sales until 2007.

Nova Entertainment has appointed Michael Graham as Commercial Director for their Brisbane Sales Team. Graham’s media and sales career spans 13 years including positions with Triple M, APN News and Media, and most recently as Agency Sales Director for ARN Sydney.
