After a two year run complete with a ripper survey result, Bec Lee is set to leave HOT FM in Townsville. Bec made the move north from KRock breakfast in Geelong teaming up with Guy ‘Cliffo’ Clifton in Townsville in 2014. News today that Bec is taking up a position with the ABC in NSW to be closer to her family.

Em Rusciano is returning to the Hit Network for a new show across the country on Sunday nights. It marks the return of Em to the SCA fold, back in 2013 she co-hosted the short lived Mamamia Today with Dave Thornton on the then,  Today Network.  Em Rusciano was also part of the 92.9 breakfast show in Perth for four years.

ARN’s Lena Rapley is making the move from Sydney to Melbourne to be the new Group Sales Manager. Starting July 25 in Melbourne, Lena worked for two years at The Radio Network in NZ before moving to ARN in Sydney in 2010. She has won an ACRA for Best Metro Agency Salesperson and was part of the team that won an ACRA for Best Multi Media Execution for IKEA last year.

Southern Cross Austereo’s Nick Scott is stepping away from his fulltime role as General Manager of the Gold Coast’s Sea FM, Gold FM and the SCA TV brands. Nick has been part of the Gold Coast operation since 1981 in positions as National Sales Director, Group General Manager and General Manager of the Gold Coast twice for 14 years.

Tony Lawson is the new Content Director at Fresh 92.7 in Adelaide. He was Image producer 2Day FM Sydney and had his own company including working for MRM Audio Productions.

David Salmon is the new GM of Radio TAB. He joins the national racing brand from Seven where he was Brisbane Deputy Director of News. David worked in radio at 2GO on the Central Coast.

Jocelin Abbey will lead the ABC Radio and Regional Marketing team as the new Head of Radio and Regional Marketing. In this role Jocelin has oversight of marketing activities for the complete suite of ABC Radio properties, including 45 ABC Local Radio stations, triple j, double j, RN, Classic FM and the ABC Radio app, plus numerous digital only stations.

Samantha Rose Spence is the new Executive Producer of Brisbane’s Nova 106.9’s Ash, Kip & Luttsy. Sam has worked in radio for over 10 years all over Australia in Sydney, Gold Coast, Perth and now Brisbane. Sam worked on Smallzy’s Surgery in Sydney before moving to Brisbane for a maternity leave contract Integration Manager.

Tony Aldridge has been appointed as Content Director at i98FM Wollongong.  He was Assistant Programme Director at Nova 96.9.

Brisbane Broncos player Sam Thaiday is now part of a new weekend breakfast show from 8am-9am on Nova 106.9.-  The show will expose a different side to Sam Thaiday, who will be joined in the studio by TV’s Kimberley Busteed and Nova 106.9 Katie Mattin.
