Mixed bag in GfK Survey 2 for Canberra

Reporter

Mix 106.3 is still Canberra‘s leading station among people 10+, despite losing ground in the GfK Survey 2 for the nation’s capital, dropping 2.3 to 17.9.

It was an encouraging book for ABC Canberra, which saw a gain of 1.4 for a 12.2 share overall and a big jump in Breakfast.

Mix 106.3’s Kristen & Nige still hold down top spot in Breakfast, despite dropping 1.6 to 16.8. Mix is now just marginally ahead of ABC Canberra (+2.8 to 16.5) with Hit holding down third in that timeslot.

“Canberrans under 40 told us they love the most exciting new show in the city this year”

……they lost 9000 listeners

But where are these disgruntled 104.7 listeners going? It’s not to Mix and it doesn’t look like they’re off to triple j either. Is it streaming? ABC Classic had a solid gain – but surely amplifyCBR listeners aren’t switching to there!??

Too funny
