mix94.5’s The Scene celebrates 200 episodes in style

Dedicated to bringing the best local and national music to the people of Perth, Mix94.5’s weekly show The Scene will air its 200th episode on Thursday. 

To mark the special occasion, the show brought in some well-known Perth artists to record a group version of Bernard Fanning’s Aussie classic ‘Wish You Well’.

Among the artists stepping up to the microphone were Chris Murphy from Australian Idol, Aviida from The Voice and WAM Song of the Year winner Sydnee Carter.

The Scene has been going strong since April 2013 with host and recently announced 2017 WAM presenter, Blake Williams, behind the decks.

The show has hosted some of Australia’s hottest acts including The Living End, Pete Murray, Alex Lloyd, Sheppard, Eskimo Joe, Dami Im, Richard Clapton and Lior.
