Mix 106.5 PD leaves ARN

Ryan Rathbone, the Mix 106.5 Program Director, left ARN yesterday after not having his contract renewed.

Rathbone had been at ARN for 2 years after being hired away from dmg's Brisbane station Nova 106.9.

Last year Greg Smith wrote about Ryan calling him "one of the brightest & most creative programmers in the country today."

It is rumoured that the new PD for 106.5 (Kiis?) could be the former 2Day FM PD Derek Bargwanna (below) due to his close connection to Kyle and previous working relationship with the breakfast duo.
