Mitch Churi joins the cast of & Juliet

Mitch Churi, part of the KIIS Network’s 3PM Pick Up alongside Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne, and his national nightly broadcast The Night Show will add another string to his bow when he joins the cast of & JULIET for one night only, Thursday June 6.

Churi does have a theatre background studying theatre and improvisation in New York City at the Atlantic Acting School.

He said:

“Considering I’m still paying off a HECS debt for a theatre degree I half-completed 10 years ago, finally getting to perform at the Sydney Lyric Theatre is a lifelong dream.

I’m a major theatre nerd and had my start on the stage before entering the world of radio, so I’m beyond excited the cast have lent me their stage for a night. Bring your families, buy a choc top – it’s going to be a great night at the theatre!”

& JULIET flips the script on the Shakespeare play, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. It’s been nominated for 9 Tony Awards® including Best Musical and includes a playlist of pop anthems including Baby One More Time, Roar, Since You’ve Been Gone, Larger Than Life, That’s The Way It Is, Can’t Stop The Feeling, plus more.
