Former Miss Universe Australia winner joins hit92.9 on Weekend Breakfast

Hit92.9’s Weekend Breakfast with Heidi & Xavier sounded a little different over the weekend. Why? Former Miss Universe Australia winner, Scherri-Lee Biggs, is filling in for Heidi Anderson.

The Channel Nine weather girl will be on the airwaves between 7am and 9am again next Saturday morning, swapping roles from listener to announcer.

“It’s a great show. I listen to it most Saturday mornings,” she said. “I see this as a friend (that’s me) stepping in for a coffee date she (that’s Heidi) couldn’t make, so Xavier better have a coffee in hand when I arrive!”

The South African-born beauty will bring some truths to the people of Perth, explaining that listeners can expect some over-share.

“Listeners will hear a very different side to my personality,” she says.

“I’m an over-sharer and love poking fun at Xav!,” she said. “And quite frankly, where else would I get to air my trivial life questions?”

Speaking of Xavier Ellis, Biggs is gearing herself up to keep the “dead set trouble maker” in line while Heidi is away but says she couldn’t be more excited to work with him.

“I can’t wait to get on weekend breakfast with Xav.”
