Merrick Watts heads to 2GB

Ray Hadley has buried the hatchet with former FM prankster adversary Merrick Watts.

Merrick is heading to 2GB this Friday to broadcast Drive alongside Natalie Peters, with Ben Fordham on holiday.

2GB Mornings host Hadley welcomed Watts to 2GB, years after the former Nova 96.9 Breakfast host set up a disco in Ray’s parking spot at 4am among other pranks.

“Obviously the management of this station don’t know what he did over a long period of time,” said Hadley, who had a score to settle with Merrick before his AM radio debut.

“Have you matured?” asked Ray.

“The question is, have YOU matured?” retorted Merrick.
