LiSTNR and CommSec refresh CommSec Market Update podcast

LiSTNR and CommSec have joined forces to create a refreshed CommSec Market Update with new rotating hosts and twice daily updates.

The podcast will publish updates in the morning and evening from rotating hosts, including CommSec Chief Economist Craig James, CommSec Market Analysts Tom Piotrowski, Steven Daghlian and Laura Besarati, and CommSec Senior Economist Ryan Felsman, who will invite listeners into a discussion about different sharemarket themes and investment topics.

The refreshed podcast won’t assume that its listeners know everything about the market but understand they have a certain amount of knowledge and blend that approach.

“This podcast is a great way to help keep our customers updated on daily market developments and we’re pleased to be partnering with market leaders like LiSTNR to help introduce the fascinating world of financial markets to an even wider audience,” said CommSec Market Analyst, Tom Piotrowski.

The new format will now include a dual host discussion with a more conversational style, deep diving into not just the numbers, but why they are important and what they mean for investors.

At 10 to 12 minutes long, episodes will be short and bitey, packing a behind-the-curtain look in a digestible size.

LiSTNR Senior Executive Producer, Branded Podcasts, Todd Stevens, said, “CommSec are already leaders when it comes to up-to-date market information, and this revised take on the CommSec Market Update podcast will help that information to meet an audience of both experienced investors, and those looking to invest for the first time. The twice daily podcast looks at the numbers, but also what those market shifts might mean for investors.”

The CommSec Market Update podcast is released twice daily at 8.00am and 6.00pm and is available now on LiSTNR.

Please! Please get rid of Barbie and Ken. If you dumb down this broadcast any furtherit won’t contain anything of value. If the target market is high school seniors then you have probably hit the mark. The old format was not perfect but better by an order of magnitude. I am looking for alternate finance reports where my time isn’t wasted and the report has more content concisely reported.

Absolutely love listening to Tom and Ryan every day. They are brilliant. But PLEASE do something to address the the volume of the sibilance in the vocal recording, it really needs De-essing so badly. It actually hurts the ears to listen to. Please
