Kyle & Jackie O kick off the KIIS 106.5 ‘$200K Daily Payday’

The latest high stakes competition from the team at The Kyle & Jackie O Show is the $200K Daily Payday which sees hundreds of thousands of dollars up for grabs.

The new tactic kicked off on Monday, with Kyle & Jackie O calling listeners at 8am each day with the chance to win cash and other prizes.

Listeners call in and pick one out of 100 locked boxes. “We’re not sure what kind of prizes we are dealing with,” said Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

The first caller, Janine, chose box #73 and picked up $5,000. “First cab off the rank! Nice work,” said Kyle Sandilands.

Executive producer chimed in to reveal that one of the boxes has $20,000. Sandilands then added that there is a car, diamonds, overseas trips and more cash to be won.

The competition is also being used to cross-promote The Masked Singer which Jackie O and Hit Network’s Dave Hughes feature on, returning on August 10 to Ten.

As the industry prepares for the return of radio ratings, it’s clear that the big players in the market are bringing back bigger story arcs and competitions to keep listeners engaged.

It comes as ARN announced a “bold marketing investment” earlier this week for its KIIS and Pure Gold networks, extending a previously announced marketing blitz.
