Kyle & Jackie O and their social networks

It hasn't even been confirmed that the duo are going to pop up at another network but the fight for their right to take their social networks with them is apparently happening in the background.

The Daily Telegraph reported on the weekend that there is some back and forth over Facebook and their 194,000+ followers. While it looks as if the duo are able to use 'Kyle & Jackie O' on-air somewhere else due to a previous arrangement, the social aspect is the challenging one.

While the Daily Tele piece talks specifically about Facebook, the same theory must surely apply to their other social networks.

• On Twitter they have 398,000+ followers
   
• Instagram they have 28,000+ followers
   
• Google+ they have nearly 700 followers

Ideally, 2Day FM would want to re-brand all Kyle & Jackie O social networks with the name of the new show and therefore keep the followers. This has happened previously, for example, when the Hot 30 Countdown became The Bump.

Both Kyle & Jackie O and SCA have apparently contacted Facebook for a decision on the matter but will they do the same for the other social networks ?

With only 4 shows remaining for the duo on 2Day FM, it will only be a matter of days after their final show that we discover what's next.
