KIIS FM’s PJ Harding joins ‘The Daily Talk Show’

One half of KIIS FM‘s Melbourne Breakfast team Polly ‘PJ’ Harding has joined the latest episode of The Daily Talk Show podcast.

The pod is hosted by Josh Janssen and Tommy Jackett, and PJ jumps into the booth with the boys for episode #527.

PJ chats about everything from getting her career started at ZM in New Zealand, meeting Jase Hawkins and hosting ZM’s National Drive show with him.

Of course, there’s the move to Australia in 2018 to host KIIS 101.1 Breakfast, but Josh and Tommy also pick PJ’s brain about getting enough sleep for Breakfast radio, burnout, feeling grounded, self-improvement and more.

“We’ve got pretty good trust now, but it took a while though, especially the first year,” said PJ of working with Jase.

“I was very, very green and he was very, very cheeky and we came from quite different backgrounds and it took a bit of back-and-forth to really understand where we were coming from.”

“We often say our show is like therapy because it’s things that are going on in your life. Probably in an ‘every day’ scenario, you’d be too scared to talk about it. 

“But you’re like ‘someone might relate to this’ so you talk about it. And in turn, you find it’s very therapeutic.”
