KIIS brand expands with launch of KIIS Dance

Reporter

ARN is extending its KIIS brand with KIIS Dance, a digital station dedicated to electronic dance music.

Now available on DAB+ and the free iHeart app, KIIS Dance delivers a curated mix of current dance hits, iconic club anthems and era-defining throwbacks.

Designed for listeners on the move – whether in the car, at work, or getting ready for a night out – KIIS Dance delivers a nonstop stream of high-energy tracks. While the focus is on fresh releases, the station also celebrates the genre’s heritage with ‘Retro Dance,’ a daily midday hour dedicated to classic dance anthems.

The station’s weekly line up showcases some of the biggest names in dance, including VASSY, Timmy Trumpet and Tiësto, alongside a rotating roster of guest mixes from emerging and established artists.

KIIS Dance launched this morning and features a first-day lineup including a 60-minute guest mix from Joel Corry at 9am, followed by DJ Triple XL and Cyril throughout the morning.

From 9pm, Timmy Trumpet takes over with his Sinphony Radio show, before Ultra Music Festival Radio hits at 10pm.

KIIS Dance content will also extend across the national KIIS FM network, taking over Friday and Saturday nights with dedicated dance programming.

Lauren Joyce, ARN Chief Audience & Content Officer, said “KIIS Dance is a high-energy, highly targeted station built to match how audiences are engaging with audio – digitally, on-demand, and by genre. Dance music is having a huge cultural moment, and KIIS Dance puts ARN at the heart of it. This is all about giving audiences more of what they love, while broadening our network footprint in a smart, future-facing way.”

KIIS Dance is now available on DAB+ in Melbourne and the Gold Coast, and via the free iHeart app.

Australian commercial networks just can’t do dance music. I suggest people check out Raw FM instead.
