Kevin Mitchell is coming to lunch on Double J

Australian music icon Kevin Mitchell is taking over lunch on Double J for four special shows.   

Mitchell will begin his tenure at 11am on Monday August 28 until Thursday August 31, taking over from regular lunchtime host Myf Warhurst. 

He will be joined by special guests Sarah McLeod, Tim Rogers and Emma Russack.

Mitchell’s name has been synonymous in Australian music for more two decades. As the frontman of Aussie indie rock band Jebediah and under his solo stage name Bob Evans, Mitchell has been a regular feature on Double J’s programming in the past.

In 2014, he shared the role of Artist In Residence with Adalita, where he proved he was a natural when it comes to sharing his musical knowledge and insights.
