Kate Meade returns to radio in new ABC role

Kate Meade is returning to radio.

From this Monday, July 29, she’ll be back on air, taking on the role of Station Reporter for ABC 774 in Melbourne.

Kate left Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 in March this year to work on Pavely, the app she created with and for her son Chester, to encourage more inclusive communities in South Australia.

For the last couple of months, she’s has been working on ABC Drive with Ali Moore.

Kate says “I’m super excited to be combining producing and on air in this new role for ABC Melbourne 774.”

“I’ll be running around Melbourne covering the biggest stories of the day, talking to the people of Melbourne and sharing their stories.”

“Most importantly, it’s all local and all Melbourne every day. It’s a privilege to have this opportunity and I can’t wait to get started.”

Kate was previously the co-host of the ACE Radio Network’s Morning Rush show with Sean Cullen, host of the Women of Influence podcast and producer for Jonesy and Amanda on WSFM.
