Staff Writer

K rock Geelong has begun the search for the hottest local act to perform on the K rock B.I.G Sessions stage the inaugural Born In Geelong Festival.

To be held at the Little Creature’s Brewery on October 26, the festival will be hosted by K rock’s Tom and Loggy of ‘Fresh Daily’, who’ve put the call out for local musos to join the bill.

The winning band will be the fifth act to join the B.I.G Sessions stage line-up that already includes Ten High Fly, Gonzo, Nathan Seeckts and Famous Will.

K rock content director Dan Hill says the station has always been a big supporter of local acts over the years and it made sense to play a part in the B.I.G Festival.

“K rock was also born in Geelong, so to finally have a local festival showcasing some of the regions finest musicians is a testament to the quality of artists coming out of Geelong. We look forward to partn

ering with Little Creatures and providing some A-Class entertainment on the K rock B.I.G Sessions stage.”

The main stage will feature the likes of Allday, Ball Park Music, British India, Alex Lahey and Alice Ivy.

Muso’s of the Geelong region can enter now at krock.com.au.

Doesn’t K-Rock actually play any of those bands or artist on the line up? I thought they were all Taylor Swift and Katy Perry these days?
