Jules Lund joins Disrupt Radio
Former SCA presenter Jules Lund is the latest to join new talk radio station Disrupt Radio.
Jules will host the weekday drivetime slot between 4-6 pm with a show called Start-up Nation, focused on business, entrepreneurship and innovation.
“I’m ecstatic because I’ve worked in radio and then start-ups and now I get to talk about start-ups on radio, so it’s the perfect bridge between two of my key passions,” Lund told The Australian.
“I have missed radio, for me I really enjoy the live aspect.”
Lund joins former ABC presenter Libby Gorr at the upcoming station which is expected to launch on DAB+ in the coming months.
Founder & CEO of Disrupt Media Limited, Benjamin Roberts says Disrupt will fill a hole in the market that Jules will complement.
“For Disrupt Radio, we identified a clear gap in radio programming to develop a new, innovative format that promises to connect with aspirational Australians. Breakfast and Drive radio often lacks intellectual conversation, leaving listeners craving more substance. We’ve crafted a refreshing alternative that sparks curiosity, provokes deeper thought and inspires listeners no matter their age or stage,” Roberts said.
“Jules is a trailblazer and we can’t wait to hear him disrupt the airwaves on his new drive show Startup Nation. We know audiences will love him.”
