James Bay to play Nova’s Red Room Live Stream this month

Staff Writer

British singer-songwriter James Bay is bound for Nova’s Red Room Live Stream after releasing his latest bop ‘Chew On My Heart’ last week.

Following the Nova and smoothfm Thank You Concert, the network is continuing to provide fans with the opportunity to connect with their favourite artists during the lockdown.

Nova’s Red Room Live Stream, made virtual by Nova’s music team to keep the tactic operational during COVID-19-induced isolation, kicked off with Conan Gray.

Bay follows other recent virtual Red Rooms with Dua Lipa, Yungblud and Benee.

The guitar phenomenon burst on to the charts with his 2014 critically acclaimed debut album ‘Chaos and the Calm’.

The album went straight to #1 in the UK and sold half a million copies in the US, with the lead single ‘Hold Back the River’ going platinum.

In 2018 he released his second album Electric Light which peaked at #2 on the British charts.

Bay found further success with hit singles ‘Scars’ and ‘Let it Go’, with the latter amassing over 322 million views on YouTube.

The 29-year-old has a slew of accolades including three Grammy nominations, two Brit Awards including ‘Best Male Solo Artist’ and ‘Critics Choice’ and a GQ Man of The Year Award.

Listeners have the chance to win their invite to an intimate live-streamed performance and fan Q & A with Bay by listening to the Nova Network or entering online at novafm.com.au.
