Imogen Anthony and Ex Kyle Sandilands “just grew apart”

Model, Imogen Anthony, has spoken about the details on her split with Ex-Boyfriend Kyle Sandilands on a recent episode of Big Brother VIP.

Housemate on the show, Jessika Power, quizzed Anthony about the reason for the couples split in 2019.

“Why did you break up for, that never came out?” said Power.

Anthony was open to sharing her feelings about her difficulties with Kyle.

“He was just working so much. It was just work, work, work, work, work, you know and I want to have kids,” said Anthony.

“We kind of just grew apart.”

Imogen and Kyle met at Kyle’s 40^th birthday party and connected – despite the 19-year age gap.

“I just didn’t expect everything to happen the way it did afterwards, and then he’s confused, and he doesn’t know what he wants,” said Anthony.

After the discussion, Imogen was called into the diary room where she was prodded by Big Brother on her relationship with Kyle, asking what was missing from the relationship.

“I wanted things that he couldn’t give me. You know, money and fame isn’t the be-all and end-all of life,” said Anthony.

“You know, it’s nice for a little while, but I want to have children that can run around with their father and not be put behind work. I want someone’s time.”

Imogen admitted that she waited on Kyle because they had invested so much time in one another.

“I’m thinking, like, what other choice do I have? You know, this is the person I’ve been with for so long. Of course, I’m going to hang on a whim,’ said Anthony.

“Maybe, you know, do we get back together? And then all of sudden, the things were just too undeniable, and I was like, what are you doing?”

“I’m not going to let someone else write my narrative for me.”

On New Year’s Eve of 2019, Kyle made his relationship with former personal assistant, Tegan Kynaston known, not long after his split with Imogen.

Kyle spoke about the relationship with Anthony on ‘The Kyle and Jackie’O’ show in 2020, saying the relationship had, “run it’s course.”

In recent time Imogen has shared pictures on social media with a new love interest whose identity had been kept private.
