iHeart turns up the volume on Ausmusic month
As part of Ausmusic Month, ARN’s iHeart is championing the very best the local music scene has to offer.
Digital radio station iHeartAustralia will continue to hero 100% Australian music and feature local artist interviews, as well as sharing daily news on all the 2024 ARIA Music Awards nominees.
This Thursday, following the ARIAs, iHeartAustralia will celebrate the winners all day from 9am and broadcast an ARIA Hall of Fame special with Missy Higgins at 12pm.
Special guests ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd and artist Ben Lee will also be featured.
Australian music lovers can stream curated all-Aussie content all month long on the iHeart App Spotlight feature, which includes playlists created by past and present ARIA nominees like Rufus Du Sol, Amy Shark, Sia and Royel Otis, local music podcasts and homegrown albums.
iHeartAustralia will also continue its support of Ausmusic T-Shirt Day on Thursday 28 November.
Brett ‘Nozz’ Nossiter, ARN’s Head of Content – Digital Audio, says “Here at ARN and iHeart, it has always been important for us to show our support of Australian music and our commitment to the amazing local talent. This November in particular, we are looking forward to amplifying local thought leaders within the music industry and help highlight what is a vibrant and diverse Australian music landscape.”
