Hot Tomato share the fruits of their labour

The Gold Coast’s Hot Tomato has expanded with the addition of their new digital station Hot Tomato Ripe on Saturday and today’s release of Hot Tomato Gold.

While Hot Tomato Ripe celebrates the newest releases in music, Hot Tomato Gold brings listeners the greatest hits from the 60s right through to the 90s.

Sharing the fruits of their labour on election day, Hot Tomato Ripe was launched alongside the exclusive release of Harry Styles’ latest album, Harry’s House, inviting listeners to join them as they host a house party.

Hot Tomato’s Content Director Brendan Dangar said, “Hot Tomato Ripe is another digital station purpose-built for the Gold Coast.”

“It’s all about the new music and access to the biggest music makers in the world.”

Released today, Hot Tomato Gold is the lastest digital station to dish out all the classics.

Keeping the Gold in Gold Coast, radio personality AJ Johnston is hosting breakfast from 6 am to 9 am on Hot Tomato Gold from today and couldn’t wait to fire off some classics.

“My on-air success on the Gold Coast was built with an audience relationship and I’m so excited about reigniting that on Hot Tomato Gold on DAB+ Radio and the iHeartRadio app,” said AJ.

Hot Tomato Gold has also added hourly local news bulletins from its dedicated news team in the Southport studios which will run seven days a week.

Find both new digital stations on DAB+ and the iHeartRadio app.

I’ve been listening to HT Gold for a few weeks on IHeart. I was surprise but glad to hear news at TOH on Saturday. Glad to see ARN are doing something good with their new purchase.

Funny how ARN seem to be putting more effort into Gold Coast DAB than in Brisbane! Surely a Gold DAB station has to pop up in Brisbane given the imminent and tragic demise of 4KQ.
