Half a Million jobs have rolled off the production line at Abe’s Audio

Australian audio production and voiceover company Abe’s Audio is celebrating producing half a million jobs (and over 1.2 million voiceover scripts) this week.

From humble beginnings in a bedroom studio almost 25 years ago, Abe’s Audio has grown to employ 22 staff (main pic) and serve hundreds of clients around Australia and internationally.

Abe Udy, founder of Abe’s Audio said, “We’re so proud to achieve this milestone. When I started the business in my late teens, almost 25 years ago, I never dreamed we’d achieve this. Abe’s has come a long way from an old computer, a fax machine and dial-up internet – and we look forward to hitting one million!”

Latest hires for the business include well-known former SCA Perth audio producer Carlos Step, and Harry Badcock, most recently at ARN.

And earlier this month week, the company progressed to the Tasmanian finals in the 2023 Telstra ‘Best of Business Awards’ for Embracing Innovation.

Abe’s Audio works with advertising agencies, broadcasters, podcasters, eLearning companies and video creators who require professional audio production and voiceovers.

Leveraging technology to connect its staff, talent and clients, the company pioneered a hybrid work-from-home model in the mid-2000s and has grown to become the largest audio production company in Australia.
