Gold Coast breakfast host having a baby

Sea FM Gold Coast breakfast host, and former Hot 30 presenter Matt Acton, has announced he and his wife are having a baby.

Co-hosts Paul Gale and Charli Robinson were excited for the couple, Charli saying:

"It's a baby! You're pregnant. Oh Matt, you've wanted this for so long, you've been so clucky. Poor Esther, this happened before her 30th … she wanted a drink.''

Acton explained, "The reason I held it off until today was because yesterday we had a 13-week scan. It is the most unbelievable experience.

"Poor Esther, she was being poked and prodded and I was sitting there trying not to cry.

"As you guys know, we've been discussing babies for a very long time. I went home one day and said to Esther 'Babe, it's on'.''

Acton is a stepdad to his wife's 11 year old son Ethan, pictured right.
