Getting creative: Audio production house doing its bit to help with the floods

To assist in recovery efforts after the recent devastating floods, Abe’s Audio is offering free voiceovers and production for commercials or content supporting events and fundraising activities, alongside community information or local businesses who’ve been directly affected.

“We want to do whatever we can (even if small) to help those who’ve been affected by the recent floods,” says owner Abe Udy.

It was earlier this week Tasmania was cut off from the world after losing internet access, and again Abe’s team came together in a show of support.

“ Even though it wasn’t their job, producers (who weren’t in Tassie) stopped producing and started responding to emails and processing urgent jobs.

“Client service staff went home to use satellite internet and worked their tails off. And when the internet was finally restored, more of our people worked into the night to ensure that clients would get their jobs back, when they needed them.

“No one said, “but that’s not my job”. They just rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in.

“One of our company values is to ‘Live Generously’ – and to be team players who always bring our best.

“ As a business owner, it warms my heart to see that this value is not just written on the wall, it’s something that our people actually live by when the rubber hits the road.”
