Geelong GM leaves radio

Staff Writer

Dean Anglin, General Manager of K-Rock and Bay FM in Geelong, is leaving to become the CEO at Basketball Geelong.

Anglin says: "I have decided that now is the time for me to move on to a new challenge and expand my horizons….I am extremely proud of what my team have achieved over the past four years while I have been the General Manager; the most obvious achievements are the refocusing of K-ROCK to a pop/rock station and the overall refresh of Bay FM."

Dean has worked in radio for 16 years.

He started in Albury Wodonga as a local account manager before moving to Melbourne to work at Nova. 3 years later Anglin moved to the Sunshine Coast and then to Geelong 6 years ago as Sales Manager. He was GM at the station for 4 and a half years.

He finishes up at the end of September.
