Fiveaa PD exits, dmg restructure

Staff Writer

Brad Hulme (left) has resigned from his role as Fiveaa Program Director, effective immediately.

Hulme has programmed the dmg Radio talk station in Adelaide since mid-2010, coming from his role as EP of vega 91.5's breakfast show which he did for a couple of years. Brad has said he wishes to explore other opportunities within the media.

Paul Jackson, dmg Radio Group Program Director said:

“Brad is a talented and respected member of the programming team and has been an asset during his time with the company. I would like to thank him for everything he has done and wish him well with his future endeavours.”

Brad's wife, Irene Hulme, was PD of Nova 919 and most recently APD of Nova 96.9 until a few months ago when she also decided to leave the network.

dmg have now made the decision to restructure the programming departments in Adelaide and have appointed Nova 919 PD Dave Shearer (below) to oversee both Nova and Fiveaa.

Paul Jackson says, “Dave has done a superb job with Nova 919 over the past 12 months. His long history with both CHR and talkback radio in the UK and his broad range of skills will be invaluable across both stations.”
