Daily news podcast ‘Fear And Greed’ cracks podcast ranker

News podcast Fear And Greed is the only independent podcast on the Australian Podcast Ranker.

Fear and Greed debuted in the Top 100 on the Triton Digital Ranker, released this week, landing at #98.

The daily business news podcast, which launched in May 2020, goes out at 6.30 am every day of the week.

The podcast is produced by ex-Fairfax Media editorial director and Sydney Morning Herald editor Sean Aylmer, along with former Macquarie Media CEO Adam Lang and national EP Michael Thompson.

Over the last three months it has racked up more than 260,000 downloads, and is the only podcast on the list without the backing of a media organisation.

On the All-Australian Ranker (comparing podcasts produced within Australia), Fear and Greed debuted at #62.

It was one of seven podcasts to debut on the Australian Podcast Ranker for the month of August.
