Ed Kirkwood resigns after 5 years as Content Lead for KIIS Network Drive
Ed Kirkwood has resigned as Content Lead for KIIS Network Drive shows Will & Woody and The Pick Up after five years in the role.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Ed said leaving ARN was a tough decision to make.
“It’s a role that I’m proud to have done for 5 years, and has given me a large number of opportunities to grow and develop into an experienced content creator and leader.”
Ed says he has greatly enjoyed his time working across both shows but feels that now is the right time to look for new challenges.

“I’d like to thank everyone who I’ve worked with across The Will & Woody Show over those 5 years, who are some of the hardest working and most talented people with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working. I leave knowing that the show is stewarded by an amazingly talented and hard working team and will go on to create even better moments and content ahead.”
“A particular thanks to Derek Bargwanna (DB), Duncan Campbell and Adrian Brine who I’ve had the privilege to learn from, and who’ve helped me grow into a passionate and empathetic leader with a keen understanding of content strategy, content commercialisation and people management.”
“I’d also like to thank Will & Woody who took a punt on me in my first role as Executive Producer, from which I could progress into a Content Lead position that manages multiple networked radio shows.”
“What’s next? Truthfully I really don’t know. I love making content and empowering great content creators to do their best work, in whatever context that might be. Feel free to reach out if that’s of interest to you.”
An AFTRS graduate, Ed was previously the Senior Producer for Hughesy and Ed on Sydney’s 2Day FM and was also a producer at triple j.
Ed’s last day at ARN will be Friday, September 12.
