Ed builds lego & stars in death metal cover

Staff Writer

Singer, songwriter Ed Sheeran is a favourite of many Australian radio stations. Not only because his songs are popular but also 'coz he's a nice guy who is up for having some fun.

He has played the 'Buzzers of Death' on Nova's nights show (see here) and performed in Nova's Red Room (see here).

While in Perth he caught up with 92.9's 'Lisa, Paul & Baz' in their Rumpus Room and built a real Lego House while chatting about his early life, what his mates think of him and what his mum was doing with Kylie on a couch at the Queens Jubilee.

Talking about the video for Lego House, which stars Harry Potter's Rupert Grint, he said…

“People since school days have always said I look like him. I thought ‘What I’m going to do is make a video where people think he’s actually me’ because I thought it would be quite funny. And people started to think that he was actually me so it worked out well. I’ve heard radio DJs over here be like ‘Rupert Grint has released a single and he’s changed his name."

Meanwhile, over at Nova 100 in Melbourne, daytime announcers Dylan Lewis and Kelli Paun have made their own video of an Ed Sheeran song. It's a death metal cover of 'The A Team' (not including any Harry Potter stars).

The disclaimer on the video says "This video contains traces of death metal. You should watch it with the lights on if you're easily scared or have a weak bladder."

It even has a cameo from Ed at the end of the clip…..
