Duncan Campbell: Consistency “We have never sat back and relaxed.”

ARN have had a dream run, particularly in Sydney with the number one and two FM Breakfast shows. For them it’s about consistency.  “We’ve been very pro-active about ensuring our stations are well targeted and the content we generate is exceptional”, said Duncan.

But is ARN facing a few challenges, not only in Breakfast and Drive? 

We talk about Kyle and Jackie O, with Duncan saying they took “a bit of a hit the previous survey…. This survey.. they produced some excellent content and it’s been very much on target.”

We talk Hughesy & Kate, who have taken hits in some markets:  “We’ve seen the impact of Hamish & Andy around the country, but as predicted we haven’t seen the impact ten plus”, said Duncan

Each survey we talk to the Group Content Directors and Senior Management of Australian radio. Next it is ARN’s Duncan Campbell. Earlier it was Nova Entertainments Paul Jackson, and still to come Mike Fitzpatrick and Dave Cameron from Southern Cross Austereo.  We will also welcome the Director of ABC Radio, Michael Mason.
