Dream come true: Lauren’s Cinderella story 

KIIS 101.1 Breakfast host Lauren Phillips was left heartbroken when she didn’t land the lead role in her fourth-grade production of Cinderella, so the team at KIIS are pulling some strings to fix that. 

As a result, Lauren will live out her childhood dreams and take the stage for a one-night-only performance in Midnight: The Cinderella Musical.

The special rendition of the musical will take place at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre, but there’s one small problem – Lauren gets stage fright. 

To help, over the past week, the show has been joined by actor Shane Jacobson, Lauren’s Mum and even her year four Cinderella to help Lauren channel her inner theatre star.

On the Jase & Lauren Breakfast show yesterday, Lauren was put through more training to help face her fears before the big show this Thursday, 20 July.
