Denis Walter in shock over investment freeze

3AW afternoon host Denis Walter has told Neil Mitchell of his sympathy for those affected by Gippsland Secured Investments's (GSI) voluntary freeze of $150 million in funds.

Denis has endorsed the company over the last three years and has appeared in television commercials promoting them.

He first heard the news during the 3AW news near the end of his show on Monday.

Walter appeared on Neil Mitchell's program saying:

"I went into shock. I could hardly speak and just felt very upset for the people (who've) got their life savings with (GSI)."

"Yes, I'm feeling like people might question my integrity after 43 years, but my real feelings are for the people who can't get their hands on their money."
