David Collins, one half of Australia’s longest serving Breakfast duo, tragically passed away recently after a battle with cancer.

Former KOFM host David was 60-years-old, and now the station has revealed audio of a chat he had with his long-time host Tanya Wilks in the days prior to his passing.

David spoke to Tanya about how he migrated from England to Australia and how he got his gigs at 2HD and KOFM.

The duo also chatted about their on-air relationship, before moving on to David’s thoughts on mortality after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
