David Schwarz to return to SEN

David Schwarz is reportedly returning to Melbourne’s 1116 SEN.

The Herald Sun (subscription required) says Schwarz has signed on to be part of the station’s AFL coverage this season.

The former Demon will sit in the experts’ chair for one game each week.

Despite past tensions, Schwarz told the paper he and SEN boss Craig Hutchison have had a lot of conversations and have managed to work things out.

“Hutchy was good, he was like, ‘Let’s get going, what has happened in the past is gone, let’s just look forward’.”

“I’ve always loved SEN and it feels like I’m going back home.”

The paper says that while there will initially be no comeback of the cult favourite ‘Ox and Marko’ show – featuring former pro golfer Mark Allen – the door remains open.

The pair was sacked minutes after signing off for their final show of 2017.

Allen continues to be a regular fill-in on 3AW’s top-rating breakfast show.
