Dave, Sam & Ash give their boss the full survivor experience

After falling short in the auditions for this year’s season of Australian Survivor, Hot 91.1 brekkie hosts Dave, Sam & Ash didn’t give up on their boss Ross Turner so easily.

In one of the biggest stunts in Sunshine Coast radio history, the team took the PD to the middle of nowhere where he undertook challenges for food and shelter.

Turner lasted 24 hours out in the mystery location, attempting the tin-can toss, the box of doom and the flamingo and water challenges, with all the shenanigans chronicled on Facebook Live.

The videos amassed 34,116 views, over 2,000 reactions, and reached 82,868 people on the station’s Facebook page.

To top things off, the team got the host of Australian Survivor Jonathan Lapaglia live on the show, telling him that the tribe had spoken.

“Our job every day is to help make people’s dreams come true…And, if it also means we can stick our boss out in the bush, then win, win,” the brekkie co-hosts said.
