Darwin GM leaves to head south

After 9 years as General Manager of Darwin community station Territory FM, Peter Perrin is leaving at the end of the month to work at "a well established NSW based national network," he said in an email to NT News.

Perrin said: "I'm very proud to be leaving the station in far greater shape than when I started."

"Since 2004 to station has grown in popularity and reach from less than four per cent to last years Roy Morgan Research result of 34 per cent, not bad for a community broadcaster."

"Revenue is over $1 million and its potential future as an independent community operation is in good shape at present."
