Audiences at the Podcast Futures event at the NAB Show New York have been delivered some cutting-edge content from leaders on the frontlines of audio and podcasting.

Held at the Javits Center in the Big Apple, topics so far have included new research findings, podcast marketing and discovery tools and podcasting showcases.

NuVoodoo Media Services’ President Carolyn Gilbert and Leigh Jacobs, EVP, Research Analysis, presented new research findings into the podcast listener experience and listeners’ habits and preferences for ads.

Gerard Edwards, CEO, Podcast Radio Network, discussed the UK company’s expansion to the U.S radio market.

While TargetSpot’s Dave Sosson, Senior Director, Agency & Brand Partnerships, headed up a panel at Radio Futures featuring Jacob Schwartz, Associate Media Director, National Audio Investments, Mediahub, and Mattia Verzella, Head of Business Development, Spreaker.

The group discussed measuring the value of Dynamic Ad Insertion, ad tech and podcast creative, plus ways to increase brand spending in podcasts and what format ideas drive engagement.
