Confirmation of Hughesy, Ed and Erin for 2023

Erin Molan has shot down replacement rumours, confirming Hughesy, Ed and Erin will remain on the 2Day FM airwaves in 2023.
The news was shared via a post on LinkedIn, saying that the 2Day FM trio signed an extension on their contract a couple of months back.
because they’re rating so well i gather
These guys have the best gig in town because they get paid millions and are under no pressure to achieve anything

Ed Kavalee’s been in that breakfast slot for 5 years now. Outside of the JA run of course.
Hughesy and Erin have almost had 2 years.
SCA have to look at what radio shows are doing well in the country at the moment.
Christian O’connell. Ben and Liam. Kyle and Jackie-O, Ash, Luttsy + Susie O’neal, Nathan, Nat and Sean. 99% of the makeup of these radio shows are by excellent radio operators that weren’t celebrities first and foremost. All of these people KNOW what makes radio tick and want to make a great show every day.
My fingers are crossed that they’re taking that into consideration with awesome shows like Jimmy and Nath / Abbie Chatfield, but JESUS CHRIST, invest back into content and stop feeding everything into LISTNR.
It one of the worst breakfast shows they had….the content is just terrible… can’t stand that forced laughter….
Good luck they will never be as good as KJ.
No mention of what time slot they are appearing in…..could this be the great switch a roo on 2 Day FM.
My speculation for 2023 is:
Carrie & Tommy for breakfast
Ed Dave and Erin for drive
