Chrissie Swan’s new national role with Nova

Reporter

NOVA Entertainment has announced that Chrissie Swan will host her own national radio show next year.

The Chrissie Swan Show will launch in January 2023.

After 20 years on breakfast radio and with her TV career reaching new heights this year, Chrissie’s new radio show will air weekdays from 2pm to 4pm on the Nova Network.

Peter Charlton, NOVA Entertainment CEO, says “Chrissie Swan is a highly respected broadcaster and one of Australia’s most loved personalities. Her engaging and down to earth style has seen her connect with listeners over her impressive radio career, the last seven years of which were part of Nova 100’s award-winning breakfast show. The 2pm to 4pm timeslot is important to both listeners and advertisers, with a highly engaged audience often on the school run. Chrissie has really broad appeal and we can’t wait to share her charismatic broadcasting style with a national audience in this marquee day part.”

Chrissie says “It was a dream come true to be part of Nova’s Melbourne breakfast show and to connect with our listeners. I’ve achieved so much professionally and personally over the past seven years, and I’m thrilled to take on this new opportunity to embrace a new audience right across the country in this brand-new time slot.”

What a superstar CS is. One of the most dynamic, articulate, relatable and I believe genuine on air presenter. I love her engagement. So happy for you Chrissy.

She has the most amazing singing voice ever, be great if she took that up or even judged something similar to The Talent Show. Just saying.
