Changes in the 4BU/Hitz 939 newsroom

4BU and Hitz 939's Johanna Marie (left) is leaving Bundaberg Broadcasters to take up a gig in the 4BC Newsroom.

GM Trish Mears said: “Johanna has been our Local News journalist for 4BU and Hitz 939 for just under a year, before being offered the metro position, which is a tremendous achievement.”

Johanna says: “It’s been an incredible learning experience for me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better town and community to start my career. I’m sad to leave, but also excited to make the transition from local to State and National news.”

Taking her spot at Bundaberg Broadcasters is former WIN News journo Eve Sharpe (pictured right). It's her first time working in radio.

Mears says: “We welcome Eve to the team and hope she enjoys the early morning starts."

“I’m excited to learn the ropes of radio and look forward to covering the regions news,“ said Eve.
