Beau Ryan in the mix as Triple M Sydney announces brand new Breakfast show for 2025

Reporter

Beau Ryan will make his Breakfast radio debut alongside Tarsh Belling and Aaron Woods as Triple M Sydney unveils its new offering for 2025: Triple M Breakfast with Beau, Tarsh & Woodsy.

Since his NRL retirement, Ryan has proven himself to be a solid media performer, hosting The Amazing Race Australia and Top Gear Australia, as well as making regular appearances on radio, including Triple M’s The Rush Hour.

No stranger to the Triple M audience, over the past two years Natarsha Belling will now help steer the Breakfast ship as co-host, whilst continuing to deliver the morning news for Triple M.

Rounding out the show’s hosts is former Wests Tigers captain Aaron Woods, also a recent contributor to Triple M Sydney’s The Rush Hour.

Current Triple M Sydney Breakfast show anchor Cat Lynch will keep the mornings on track as the show’s anchor.

Ryan says “I grew up with Triple M; it was always on for every car trip and then, during my playing days, it got me through the long commute to training at the Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks. So now to be a part of the new Breakfast team is a wonderful full circle moment.”

The new Breakfast show kicks off on January 20, 2025 on Sydney’s Triple M 104.9.

Beau has previously co-hosted a breakfast radio show. He was involved with ‘Macquarie Sports Radio’ when he co-hosted Breakfast with John Stanley in 2018

I wish them the best of luck.

Lost out on a marketing opportunity to call the show “BTW”.

Is this the best SCA content team ( based in Melbourne ) can do ? They clearly don’t understand the Sydney market. Triple M Sydney and 2Dayfm have been Australia’s worst performing metro stations for a decade now.

I feel like another 4 % rating for Triple M breakfast in 2025.

Good pick-up from Anne, although Macquarie Sports Radio was so short-lived (and Beau’s stint presenting the brekky show, even shorter – only about 3 months at most) that I’m surprised anyone still remembers it!

In any case, I can’t see Triple M Sydney’s latest new brekky show really doing all that much for their ratings. Based on how things have played out since The Grill Team ended, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if BT&W are replaced by another duo or trio within three years.
