B105 breakfast begin local pop up shows

B105 in Brisbane are getting out and about during breakfast with a series of pop up 'Love This City' shows during May.

The station says what they have developed is aimed to be different to the usual radio OB. Labby, Stav & Abby are broadcasting out of a customised shipping container with a stage setup on the top for live music performances (see pic).

The event also allows listeners to do yoga, have a healthy breakfast and try their hand at being a Channel Nine newsreader.

Labby said: "Forget about old school radio outside broadcasts and feeling like crap after your bacon and egg BBQ roll, we’re putting on fresh and healthy breakfasts, yoga classes and live music for Brisbane.

"Normally we’re sitting in a 5m x 5m box looking at each other for three hours, so it’s great to get outside, meet the B105 fans and possibly get a tan."
