Audible signs multi-project deal with Gwyneth Paltrow’s brand, goop

Audible has announced a multi-project deal with Gwyneth Paltrow’s brand, goop in which four titles have been greenlit under The Goop Pursuit banner. 

Launching on January 12, 2023, the collection will explore some of life’s pillars: pleasure, healing, beauty, and change, and include an introduction from goop’s founder and chief executive officer, Gwyneth Paltrow.

Paltrow’s brand has become known for its quirky and sometimes strange investigations and products like Vampire Repellent or ‘This Smells Like My Vagina’ candles.

The first original, Leaning into Pleasure, is hosted by Penda N’diaye, founder of Pro Hoe, a brand that focuses on sexual liberation in Black and Brown communities. 

This 90-minute Audible Original features multigenerational discussions on the topic of pleasure–how we experience it, what blocks it, how we can allow ourselves to express our desires, and more. It also features a discussion with Paltrow about her experiences navigating pleasure and societal taboos.

Additional originals in the collection include Healing in a Sick Society, hosted by psychiatrist Will Siu; Finding Beauty, hosted by author and LGBTQAI activist Jodie Patterson; and Coming Home to Yourself, hosted by clinical psychologist Dr Thema S. Bryant.
