Ash shares her radio journey

Students at Melbourne’s Kilbreda College this week enjoyed a keynote presentation from a past pupil, Nova FM newsreader Ashleigh Gardner.

As well as presenting news for the Chrissie, Sam and Browny breakfast show, Ash co-hosts an early morning show on Nova.

Ash shared her journey, from VCE to university, then to regional news, before moving back to Melbourne to take up news reporting roles with Fox FM and 3AW.

Ash’s inspirational story encouraged students to follow their passions, set goals and map out the journey that it will take to reach their dreams.
