ARN appoint new National Marketing boss

Staff Writer

The Australian Radio Network have moved their marketing consultant, Anthony Xydis, into the role of National Marketing Director.

Anthony has been working with ARN for 6 months and was previously the Marketing Director at Adshel and International Marketing Director and International Brand Director for Clear Channel.

He replaces Jodie Koning (below), who will move into the newly created part-time position of Senior Marketing Manager after returning from her maternity leave.

ARN’s CEO Ciaran Davis said: “The shift in strategic direction for ARN in becoming a contemporary media and entertainment company is our key focus and this includes a significant renewal of our marketing investment. Over the past six months Anthony has contributed to a review of the marketing strategy and worked closely with myself and the entire National Leadership Team in the development of a unified vision of the ARN brand and strategic position. It’s a great pleasure to have him officially join the team.”

Xydis says: “I’m excited to be part of the renewed strategic direction for ARN. With some of Australia’s best on-air talent I look forward to being part of the ongoing development of the suite of on-air, online and mobile brands, delivering content to Australia’s most valuable audiences”.
