And the deal is done…finally!

Late this afternoon the marriage of Macquarie Radio Network and Fairfax Radio was consumated when the merger of the two companies was finalised.

All conditions precedents have been satisfied, allowing the merger to complete. 

WIth that done, work will now turn to the integration of the respective networks and, from a Macquarie Radio perspective, the required divestment of Macquarie Regional Radio in Queensland, and 2CH in Sydney.
