Alex Dyson returns to host 2024 Rolling Stone Australia Awards

Rolling Stone AU/NZ publisher The Brag Media has today unveiled the performers and host for the 2024 Shure Rolling Stone Australia Awards, which return to Sydney on Tuesday, March 26.

Former triple j breakfast presenter turned host of the Matt & Alex – All Day Breakfast podcast Alex Dyson (main photo) will reprise his role as host of the star-studded music event.

Dyson says “I’m extremely honoured to be invited back to the Rolling Stone Australia Awards once again. Sure, I wish it was because my experimental spoken word psy-jazz record was nominated for Best Album, but until that gets the traction it deserves I’m still thrilled to be involved in the capacity of host.”

Also announced as part of the lineup are chart topping siblings Angus & Julia Stone, plus iconic rock band Crowded House will perform on the night.

Vying for top honours at this year’s awards are Troye Sivan, Dom Dolla, Peach PRC, Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers, The Teskey Brothers and Fisher, to name a few.
